Reporting a bug
The more detail, the faster the fix. A good report includes:
- What happened, and what you expected instead.
- The steps that led to it — the more exact, the better.
- Your iPhone model and iOS version.
- A screen recording, if the issue is something you can catch on camera.
Frequently asked questions
How do I steer?
Hold your thumb anywhere on the screen
and slide left or right. The game reads how far your thumb moves
from where it pressed down — not where you tap — so you never have
to reach.
How do I escape the yeti?
Hit a ramp and catch air to
break its lock on your line. Steering it into a tree also makes it
stumble and fall back, buying you a moment.
Why is the yeti chasing me?
Ski far enough down a
mountain and the yeti wakes and drops in behind you. That's the
"flee" in Ski Flee — outrun it or become the run's final frame.
Does it need the internet?
No. Ski Flee plays fully
offline. There is no account, no sign-in, and nothing is uploaded.
Where is my best score saved?
On your device only.
Deleting the app clears your best score, your best-run replay, and
your settings.
Is there sound?
Yes — sound, music, and haptics are all
on by default. Each can be turned off in Settings (the gear on the
title screen).
Can I race my best run?
Yes — turn on the ghost in
Settings and a shadow skier of your best run races alongside you.
